Christen emailed me a few months ago inquiring about her grad pictures! I was so excited to plan this session with her and about the ideas/personal touches she brought with her. One of her childhood loves is her stuffed animal, a flamingo. Ha, I love it! And it just so happens there was a flamingo next to Everman Park in Abilene, TX. 🙂 Christen is receiving her Associates this May in Associates of the Arts, with a focus on Biology. She is head to BAYLOR next and will be finishing a Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Math. She hopes to research in a lab for the medical field after graduating with her bachelors and continue on to hopefully a doctorate one day. One of the important people in her life, is her fiancé Mark. He gets to come to her graduation in May- Yay!! Then after that he is shipping back overseas, unable to visit her again until 2018. Phew! That is tough. But from talking with Christen, they are doing well, hanging in there and cherishing the time they do get to see each other or chat. Christen, you are one of the sweetest gals I have met, and I wish you the very best in the next adventure of your journey! 🙂
